Definitions

In the terms and conditions, the “company” means Capitale Wine International Company Limited and the 'Customer' means any person, firm, company, corporation or body which places an order with the Company.

Legal Age

It is illegal to sell alcohol to people under the age of 18. By placing an order, the Customer confirms that he/she is 18 years old or above. 

Prices

Prices, unless otherwise stated, are quoted in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) per bottle (respective size). Prices are exclusive of delivery charges or tax.  

Availability

Orders are subject to the availability of the product. Stocks of each product are limited. Once sold out, the product will be removed from the website until further notice.

Payment

Payment is due immediately upon confirmation of order or at delivery. Method of payment may be in the form of cash or bank transfer. For Bank transfer, we will not ship your order until the funds are received.  Please scan or take a photo with the bank transfer receipt, and then send a softcopy to sales@capitalewine.com for verification.

Given the limited stock and pricing fluctuation of wines, the order will be valid for 7 days. If payment is not received within 7 days of confirmation, Capitale Wine International Company Limited has the right to cancel the order. 

Cash payment:

Cash on delivery or upon personal pickup from our office are possible too. There is a minimum order of 12 bottles of wine for cash on delivery; otherwise we would charge an extra $20 for handling charges that are cash on delivery. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule delivery for any cash on delivery orders without notification.  No such minimum order requirement or handling charges for personal pickup at the regular pickup time: every Saturday from 10am – 1pm. 

Delivery

All orders are delivered once a week: on Saturday from 11am – 5pm. Orders placed before 12:00 noon on Friday will be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12:00 noon will be delivered on the next scheduled delivery day.

Delivery is handled by a third-party delivery company.

Delivery is available throughout Hong Kong, except for Outlying Islands and Restricted Areas. For delivery to Outlying Islands, please consult us.

The customer is responsible for providing the correct delivery address and contact number. 

Capitale Wine International Company Limited reserves the right to charge an additional delivery fee of 120 HKD for every redelivery, if the customer is unable to accept the delivery at the nominated delivery time, or if he/she has provided incorrect delivery details.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges amount to 80 HKD per order per single location within Hong Kong island, and 120 HKD per order per single location out of Hong Kong island.

For orders of 12 bottles or more or greater than 1,200 HKD in cash amount, delivery charges are waived.

Delivery Address

Capitale Wine International Company Limited only delivers to one address per order. For orders to more than one location, please place separate orders.

Personal Pick up 

Capitale Wine International Company Limited allows customers to pick up wines at our office: 

Room 2604 Wai Wah Commercial Centre
6 Wilmer Street, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong 

The pick-up time is every Saturday from 10am – 1pm. Please consult us if personal arrangement needs to be made. 

Non Pick up/ non – delivery

Capitale Wine International Company Limited has the right to charge storage fees for storing wine in the event that the customer refuses to accept the delivery of the wine or pickup the wine within two weeks of purchase.

If the wine cannot be delivered or has not been picked up for 1 year after the order confirmation has been made, the company has the right to dispose the wine without further notice. Capitale Wine International Company Limited has no liability to the customer regarding the disposal of the wine in such circumstances.

Return policy and Rights

Customers should inspect all goods carefully after collection/delivery immediately. If a bottle of wine is considered to be faulty or there is any missing item, please let us know immediately and should be returned at once. Claims, if any, must be lodged at the time of delivery, otherwise we shall have the discretion to refuse your claim after delivery. 

Force Majeure

The Company is not liable for any delay or failure to meet our obligations caused by or resulting from acts of God, fire, blood, accident, riot, war, government intervention, embargoes, strikes, labour difficulties, equipment failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Company.

Privacy Policy

Capitale Wine International Company Limited is committed to safeguard the privacy of individuals with respect to personal data and will not pass any personal information to any third party other than our delivery company.

All sales and contracts of Capitale Wine International Company Limited are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR.

All terms and conditions may be revised without prior notice. In the event of any disputes, all decisions made by Capitale Wine International Company Limited will be final.
